1. What is SAFENESS and what do you do?

SAFENESS is a Tunisia-based training provider specialising in internationally accredited health, safety and environmental (HSE) qualifications for professionals and companies across Africa, the Middle East and beyond.

We deliver NEBOSH programmes (International General Certificate, Level 6 International Diploma, Process Safety Management, Environmental Management), IWCF/IADC well control, IRCA Lead Auditor and STI accredited scaffolding inspector courses, among others. See our Packages page for the full list.

Yes. Our courses are delivered under recognised awarding bodies including NEBOSH, IWCF, IADC, IRCA and STI, and the certificates are issued by those bodies.

They suit HSE officers, engineers, supervisors, managers and anyone seeking recognised safety qualifications — from newcomers to experienced professionals.

Courses are available in English and French depending on the programme and session. For example, we run separate English and French NEBOSH IGC sessions.

1. How do I enroll in a course?

Most certificate courses have no formal prerequisites. Higher-level qualifications, such as the NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma, assume some prior HSE knowledge — we’re happy to advise on the right starting point.

Yes. Course fees include the official training materials for each programme, and our trainers provide guidance and exam preparation throughout.

1. How much do the courses cost?

Fees vary by programme. Current prices are shown on our Packages page, or contact us for a quote, including group and corporate rates.

Yes. Seats are limited and confirmed on a first-paid, first-served basis, once your registration and the agreed payment are received.

Where an external examination applies (for example NEBOSH, IWCF or IRCA), the awarding-body examination or registration fee is set by that body. We confirm exactly what is included when you enroll.

Yes. We provide invoices for corporate and sponsored bookings — just share your company details when registering.

1. How are the courses delivered?

Depending on the programme, courses are delivered as in-person classroom sessions, with some content supported online. The delivery mode for each session is confirmed at registration.

NEBOSH qualifications are assessed by the awarding body through written and/or scenario-based assessments (and, for some units, a practical). Our trainers prepare you thoroughly for every assessment.

You can normally re-sit at a future exam sitting, following the awarding body’s resit rules and fees. We support you through the whole process.

Certificates are issued by the awarding body once results are confirmed. Timelines depend on the body; we keep you informed and arrange delivery of your certificate.

Yes. Our accredited trainers guide you, answer questions and support your exam preparation throughout the course.
