When I graduated from university in 2002 with a bachelor degree in Financial Management, I was highly motivated to start a career in finance but ended up “almost by accident” in an offshore platform in the red sea working as an H₂S technician.

I initially thought it would be a temporary role but the job satisfaction I felt in helping others work safely and the pleasure I experienced in learning from the people and situations I found myself in made me embark in a career that lasted 18 years where I encountered very challenging but extremely enriching environments that crafted my health and safety expertise and fine-tuned my influencing skills to levels beyond my own expectations.

In 2020, with the help of a dynamic team of QHSSE professionals, I decided to take matters into my own hands and started SAFENESS to provide the industry with smart, innovative and profitable QHSSE solutions.
